This guide lists only what the nine agencies on this site and the two PIM vendors publish. It adds no estimate, no industry average and no figure from any company not in the ranking. Where a number is missing, the guide says so, because the absence is the finding.
Agency-side numbers
| Agency | Published figure | Where it is published |
|---|---|---|
| Perspective | $5,000 to $15,000 for basic stores; $20,000 to $50,000 and up for customized projects; 2 to 8 weeks for a typical Magento 2 integration | Homepage and integration services page, perspectiveteam.com |
| scandiweb | $50 to $99 an hour; $25,000 minimum project size | Clutch profile, read 22 September 2026 |
| Bemeir | About 5,000 SKUs as the PIM threshold; Akeneo Cloud Enterprise 50,000 to 300,000 dollars a year; Salsify 75,000 to 400,000 dollars a year; Pimcore Enterprise varies | PIM decision framework article, bemeir.com |
| StrikeTru | A replatform to Akeneo in 6 weeks; 9 Adobe Commerce sites in 5 months for Brickworks; no price | Success stories and homepage, striketru.com |
| Agence Dn'D, Induxx NV, Netresearch, basecom, Pixie Commerce | No price, rate, timeline or threshold published | Their own sites, read 22 September 2026 |
Perspective's bands are for store builds, not PIM integrations, and the agency names no PIM vendor, so the bands set expectations for a Magento-only team rather than for a catalog project. scandiweb's Clutch figures are a rate and a floor, not a project price; its integration services page states that cost depends on how many systems connect and how many data objects sync, with scope set in a free consultation. Bemeir's bands are for the PIM licence, which the same article treats as the larger line.
What the vendors publish
Akeneo publishes no price. Its Community Edition page describes a free open-source PIM with REST and Events APIs and a marketplace of connectors, and points to a Growth package and to cloud hosting, services and support as the reasons to pay. The Akeneo App Store lists the Adobe Commerce connector for the community edition as free, at version 105.2.0 updated 25 June 2026. Akeneo's product support dates page lists version 7.0 with an end of support date of 30 September 2026 for PaaS and on-premise, which is a cost line of its own if a merchant is on it.
Pimcore publishes both the line that decides whether a licence is owed and list prices above it. Its Community Edition page limits free use to non-production use, academic and non-profit institutions, and companies with annual revenue under EUR/USD 5 million, under the Pimcore Open Core License that replaced GPLv3 at platform version 2025.1 according to Pimcore's blog of 29 April 2025. Above the line, Pimcore's pricing page lists the Professional Edition at 9,900 dollars a year and the Enterprise Edition at 29,900 dollars a year, both on-premises, with enterprise extensions and long-term support on Enterprise, and quotes PaaS on request. Bemeir's framework states that Pimcore's total cost of ownership is often lower than Akeneo's or Salsify's for businesses with the technical capacity to run it.
How the numbers combine
Read together, the published figures say three things. First, the licence is often the larger number: Bemeir's lowest Akeneo band, 50,000 dollars a year, matches the top of Perspective's customized-project band and is twice scandiweb's Clutch minimum, while Pimcore's Professional list price, 9,900 dollars a year, sits at the low end. Second, the agency work is priced by scope, not by SKU: scandiweb prices by systems and data objects, Perspective by customization, and nobody on this page prices per product. Third, the timeline band published by the one agency that publishes one, 2 to 8 weeks, is for a generic integration; the variables that stretch it on a PIM project are attribute and locale count, whether the ERP also owns price and stock, and how much cleaning the catalog needs before the first import, which is the work scandiweb's Rocket Industrial case describes as merging duplicates and rebuilding parent-child relationships.
What none of them publish
- A fixed price for a PIM-to-Magento integration of stated size
- A price per attribute, locale or channel
- A cost for a connector line upgrade from 104.x to 105.x
- A cost for the Akeneo 7.0 upgrade before 30 September 2026
- A response-time commitment or a support retainer price for the integration after go-live
Each of those is a first-call question, and the guide on choosing lists what to ask for in writing.
