The dodenhof case is the one that pairs Akeneo with Magento. basecom describes a family-owned retailer with a 125,000 square metre shopping centre in Posthausen and a second location in Kaltenkirchen, whose online store launched in 2020 on Magento Open Source, and lists the work as stabilization for peak load, a frontend redesign, a rebuilt checkout, Akeneo PIM integration with SAP connectivity through an integration platform, a move to a load-balanced cloud web cluster in 2021, and automated API data exchange between SAP, Akeneo and Magento over Magento's asynchronous interface with RabbitMQ.
