What the published record shows
Dn'D's own account of the relationship is in an article on dnd.fr dated 10 March 2022. It states the agency chose Magento in 2008, began implementing Akeneo for clients from 2013, and became Akeneo's first Gold Partner worldwide, with seven Implementation Specialist and Developer certifications in its teams at the time. The same article lists bundles the agency developed with Akeneo for Google Shopping, Criteo and attribute descriptions, and names Palais des Thés, Bricorama, E.CF, Franprix, Aelia, GSM 55 and Lancaster as implementations. Two of those, E.CF and Franprix, are described as finalists at the Akeneo PIM Summit 2019.
The connector history on dnd.fr is specific. The agency states it took part in the creation, development and maintenance of the module, that it began life as PIMGento, and that it became the official Akeneo Connector for Magento 2 in 2019, distributed through the Akeneo App Store and the Adobe Commerce Marketplace. The Akeneo App Store listing read on 22 September 2026 shows the publisher as Akeneo, the price as free, version 105.2.0 updated on 25 June 2026, and compatible Magento versions from 2.3.0 through 2.4.9. For a buyer, the practical meaning is narrow and useful. A merchant already running the community connector who hires Dn'D is hiring the team whose name is in the file headers. What the README does not say is how the maintenance is split today between Akeneo and the agency beyond the words "now partners with", and it says nothing about any one merchant's import. Dn'D publishes no rollback procedure, no response time and no statement of which connector line it last shipped, so those questions belong in the first call.
The rest of the stack is published as well. hyva.io lists Dn'D as a Hyvä Gold Partner; dnd.fr's certifications page shows Magento and Adobe certified badges without a tier, Shopify Plus Partner, OroCommerce Silver Partner, and a Hyvä partner badge. Its homepage states more than 17 years of eCommerce experience and names Zadig&Voltaire, Galeries Lafayette, Alain Afflelou and Bell & Ross among clients, none tied to a PIM figure.
The gaps are consistent. dnd.fr is in French only, publishes no pricing, no catalog size on any Akeneo case, and no English-language case page. A buyer outside France should expect to work in French or through the agency's own translators.
